Hibiscus Rickey Brew Guide
The Hibiscus Rickey is reminiscent of the Agua de Jamaica our green buying team enjoys while traveling in Central and South America.
Wonderfully refreshing and bright, the Hibiscus Rickey is made from a base of hibiscus tea sweetened with organic cane sugar, lime juice, and topped with a splash of sparkling water.
Hibiscus Concentrate :
- 100g of Passenger's Hibiscus tea
- 1.89L Hot Water, 205F +
1.5 cups of Cane Sugar
Brew tea using the half-gallon batch setting on your batch coffee brewer, and a dedicated tea-brewing basket;
or brew in a Cambro with Toddy filter (steep 8 minutes).
- Stir in sugar, and chill until cool.
Date and store for up to 10 days.
Hibiscus Rickey :
Fill 16oz glass half-full with ice
- Add 6oz Hibiscus Concentrate
- Add 1oz Lime Juice, stir
- Top with 3oz sparkling water
- Garnish with lime wheel
