Hibiscus Rickey Brew Guide

The Hibiscus Rickey is reminiscent of the Agua de Jamaica our green buying team enjoys while traveling in Central and South America. ⁠

Wonderfully refreshing and bright, the Hibiscus Rickey is made from a base of hibiscus tea sweetened with organic cane sugar, lime juice, and topped with a splash of sparkling water.

Hibiscus Concentrate :

  • 100g of Passenger's Hibiscus tea
  • 1.89L Hot Water, 205F +
  • 1.5 cups of Cane Sugar

  1. Brew tea using the half-gallon batch setting on your batch coffee brewer, and a dedicated tea-brewing basket;

    or brew in a Cambro with Toddy filter (steep 8 minutes).

  2. Stir in sugar, and chill until cool.
  3. Date and store for up to 10 days.

Hibiscus Rickey :

  1. Fill 16oz glass half-full with ice

  2. Add 6oz Hibiscus Concentrate
  3. Add 1oz Lime Juice, stir
  4. Top with 3oz sparkling water
  5. Garnish with lime wheel
